About

I created Ladies Get Paid because I needed it. The lack of women in leadership roles disturbed me and I was craving a space where women could support one another by openly sharing their professional struggles.

One year later, we now have 10,000+ women from all over the world who regularly connect through our online network and offline workshops + events. We also recently produced a conference for 150 women. You can read more about my entrepreneurial here.

In addition to running LGP, I'm on the Well + Good's Council, coach individuals and groups, and am a frequent writer, moderator and speaker at companies like the New York Times. I'm also thrilled to be featured in the Sally Hansen global campaign, Shetopia.

I'm currently on a tour across the country, hosting town halls for thousands of women to talk about self-worth at work.

Testimonials

I used every inch of your presentation and many articles from the Slack channel to negotiate. I did what you said: talk about salary. I found out I was making less than other employees at my level here (don't worry, I'm paid less than both men and women. I would have burned this place to the ground if it was gender-based). I used that and everything else you shared to negotiate and am happy with where I landed. (I did second guess myself and thought maybe I could have gotten a little more since I was so successful - now I know for next time). I've shared so much of what I learned to other women and hope to LITERALLY pay it forward.

I wanted to thank you so much for this platform. I have been on LGP for about 3 weeks and frankly this has been changing my life a little bit every day for the better.

LGP has truly transformed my life as I transition careers and I can’t stop talking about it. You’ve created a great space online and in real life for women to connect and network.

"I expected to enjoy the talk, but not to the extent that I did. I left feeling empowered and unstoppable. I felt as if I had a room full of strangers that supported and rooted for my success. "

“You are doing important work that’s important to us, to women, to the planet. You are an inspiration and I am cheering you on!! I know I speak for so many more women too!”

"I walked away better informed, and feeling empowered and incredibly uplifted by all that I learned about and witnessed on Saturday."

"The LGP conference was life changing to me."

"I now feel more prepared for any discrimination I may face as I enter the workforce as a woman, as well as being more informed on how to handle those situations."

In the 'How to Ask for a Raise' session I realized I was about to ask for less that I deserved based on how I was hired, not my current output. That session was the difference of a 15k increase to me.

Thanks to my workshop with you last month, I was approached by a media partnership company who reached out after seeing me on LGP's social channels, and we're now going to be working together to launch my podcast, get a book proposal going, re-launch my online course, get me higher-paying speaking gigs, and (hopefully) get me to the next level with my personal brand.
